Kamet offers an AI-powered predictive efficiency analysis solution, provided under a SaaS or on-prem model, to help manufacturers and warehouse operators maximize the ROI of their industrial automation.

In her previous roles at Citrix Systems (Cloud Software Group), Autodesk and FORT Robotics, CEO Nivedita Ojha met with over 300 customers and learned that, while the need to automate manufacturing and warehousing is well accepted, companies have struggled to scale up due to numerous challenges. Nivedita and co-founder Shaunak Mistry (CTO) recognized significant challenges within industrial operations that weren’t being addressed as effectively as those in the enterprise software space. And they observed significant underutilization of existing data sets that could enhance the adoption of automation while improving ongoing efficiencies and productivity.  Nivedita and Shaunak could see an enormous opportunity to apply AI, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics to tackle the challenges manufacturers face as they embrace automation.

When Nivedita first connected with the SBDC, she had no idea where to start as an entrepreneur. SBDC started asking the right questions regarding her business plans and launch strategy. SBDC helped evaluate the starting point of her business and then provided her with an advisor from its specialty program, Tech Futures Group, to work with.

Nivedita knew the market the business aimed to serve; however, with SBDC’s support, she was able to drill down further regarding forecasting, GTM, partnerships, and building out the complete financial statement along with the P&L and Balance Sheet for investors.
