This class is offered by the SF Small Business Development Center in collaboration with SF Public Library.

​Learn the fundamentals of business setup, financial recordkeeping and cost management. Participants will learn how to track income and expenses, create financial statements and understand key accounting principles. No prior experience is required – just a desire to build financial confidence and manage a business effectively.

​Dorenda Haynes has over 20 years of extensive experience within the accounting community, working with multiple Fortune 500 companies, start-up companies, University of California at San Francisco and San Francisco State University. Her background in accounting has afforded her a plethora of opportunities in financial management, relationship management, team building and managerial experience. Haynes partners with small business owners to develop robust financial solutions to help each client create a business that is built to last.
