About Me:

With a background in education, entrepreneurship, and economic development, Diego leads with empathy in engaging with diverse communities and has experience working with stakeholders across public and private sectors to create impact.
Diego earned his degree from UC Berkeley in Political Science and Education, where he started out his career advising youth in Oakland. From there, he transitioned into the entrepreneurship space working with Latino Business Action Network (LBAN) and Stanford Graduate School of Business as their program manager in developing training and events for scaled latino business nationally. Recently, Diego served as a business advisor for Prosperity Lab, a small business technical assistance provider in San Jose as well as a career advisor for the NOVAworks Young Adult Program, a federally funded workforce development program.
Diego is eager to engage with the SF small business community and help provide quality client engagement and advisor support. He is passionate about creating an environment where people can feel like their most authentic and best selves. In his free time, Diego enjoys spending time outdoors, a casual read, or the occasional karaoke session.
